Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms have some noise issues near the air conditioning unit and lack a television, but they are charming with antique décor. The early morning noise from outside can be a disturbance. The service is formal and somewhat cold, although they did apologize for issues with the air conditioning. The location in the Chianti region is stunning, offering beautiful views and a convenient spot between Florence and Siena. The dining experience can be leisurely with a good selection of local products but may lack in service quality at times.
Staying here was an absolute delight! The rooms were clean, spacious, and had a fabulous view over the Tuscan hills. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was beautifully tiled, and the sheets and towels were of top quality. However, a TV in the room could have been a nice addition.
The hotel offers a unique experience with spacious, clean rooms distributed around the property in various farm buildings, lacking TVs, which is surprisingly great. The service is a mix of warmth and professionalism but can come off as overly formal at times. The location is ideal for exploring the Chianti region, with immaculate surroundings just outside Panzano. The dining options are decent, with delightful selections amidst picturesque views. The facilities are well-maintained and cater to diverse needs.
Staying at this hotel was a delightful experience overall. The rooms were beautifully furnished with a very comfortable bed, and the large bathroom was a highlight. The service was top-notch, and the location in the heart of Tuscany was superb. However, the dining options left something to be desired, and the lack of tea/coffee making facilities was a bit of a downside.
Staying at the hotel was a nice experience overall. The rooms were beautifully furnished with antiques and old drawings on the walls, offering a cozy and comfortable stay despite some noise from outside activities. The service was friendly and accommodating, with welcoming hosts and a range of helpful amenities. The location in the Chianti mountains provided a scenic backdrop, ideal for exploring the Tuscan region, but the dining experience, though excellent in ambiance, lacked variety in breakfast options.
Staying at this hotel was like stepping back in time with its vintage room decor and stunning view of the Tuscan hills. The service was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making my stay pleasant in every way. The location, nestled in the rolling Chianti hills, was ideal for exploring the nearby towns and enjoying the saltwater pool. While the dining experience was fresh and local, there were some hectic moments. Overall, a fantastic stay with a few minor drawbacks.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were generally clean, cozy, and comfortable, but some were too noisy due to their proximity to the air conditioning unit and entrance. The service was friendly and helpful, with the owners addressing issues promptly. The location was serene and beautiful, offering a calming oasis close to lovely towns like Sienna and the Chianti area. Dining, while enjoyable overall, could be a bit hectic at times. The facilities were decent but had some room for improvement.
The hotel rooms have everything we could need in the way of amenities and are warm and cozy in a very traditional and fitting 'historical' room located in the tower of the main villa. The service, although not the warmest, have done an exceptional job updating it while keeping its ancient character intact. The breathtakingly beautiful location, just outside the main area of Panzano, is great, being at the top of a hill with easy access to nearby hill towns and many smaller villages. The dining experience offers a delightful selection of breads, cereals, cheeses, fruits, and a good local wine list with a charged extra for frying eggs. The facilities are located in a wing next to the main building off a wonderful lounge area.
